Gordale scar

I took this shot a couple of weeks ago on a very cold and windy day, it is difficult to get a sense of just how big this place is from this pic. One of the local judges would have spent ten minuted enthusing about a well placed doofus! The wall gives it scale.

I tried getting a good shot of the scar last time i went too...never managed it.

For those who havent been, you truly feel overshadowed. It seems as though it might just collapse and bury you at any minute. Worth a trip imo ;)
