Urban nightmare pics

I found a kid doing some graffiti in a skate park, and did a few shots...

Given the colourful background, the obvious thing would have been to emphasize the colour. I went the other way, and played around with desaturating it, and removing completely. Not sure which I prefer...

Nice catch.. I'm a fan of b&w but I feel the desaturated shot gives it more of an urban feel.

It's a shame the two pillars kinda blend in with the background, having the same style of graffiti on them. I do like the desat though :)

I think its just that one of the pillars is out of focus, the other one adds to the shot alot. Great shot btw
