Hello folks
It's been a long time since my last post so I hope all are well. As for photography I've been down in the dumps with little or no interest in looking at let alone picking up me camera. Then one day a work a lovely blonde grabs me by the arm and "asks are you going to Biggin this year as I want some of your photo's" At which she gives me a couple of tickets. The speaks to her coleague and tells her to get me a press pass. Four days later one press pass in my grubby little paw and the old "mojo" starts a flowing.

Here's three from Saturday's visit still working my way through the others.

Enjoy them, as I had a great day out getting to know my camera again.

Taking off. Dont think you would land with reheat on. ;)

They have an odd blur to them specially number 2. Is this processing or in camera?

The "blur" might have been me getting carried away or possibly down to getting an error on my camera so I might need to clean the contacts on the camera and on the lens. It was a pain as the only way round it was to switch the camera off and back on again as it happened three or four time through out the day.

I've forgotten how heavy a Canon 30D, Battery grip and Sigma 80-400mm lens gets after a while lol

I see, how do you find the Sigma? I have often wondered how it compares to the Nikon counterpart. Is it pretty sharp wide open?

It's not a bad lens from what I've seen of what I took on Saturday I've got some good results, although I do tend to favour my Sigma 70-200 with a x2 TC set up, I've also updated the firmware and cleaned the sensor as there's some dust spots on my images.

Also need to shake the rust off the operator!!!!!
