Took these last year with the D200 when I had it, and abandoned them considering them hopelessly flawed... you will note that one or two are not dead straight...had terrible issues with the d200 shape etc lol.
Anyway, have done some cropping and sharpening, and interested in whether any of them are ok ?

1. Nice colours but a bit flat and grainy-looking, and some dust!
2. Sky blown so I'd have just shot the piers, which do look good :)
3. Bridge dissects the skline so doesn't really work :(
4,5,6,7 I really like - great light, colours, shapes :D
8. Foreground too weak, but not bad :)

Thanks for the comments.
And yes, it was a very dull day that day.
I don't mind the bridge dissecting the sky, to be honest.

I really like the piers and 4, 5, 6 and 7.

What's wrong with the shape of the d200?

Tremendously ergonomic if you ask me and my tiny ladies hands!

Anyways.......

#4 clear winner here. Great study of lines and geometry of the place. Beautiful colours too!

Hehe, I think I needed more muscle at the time. I tend to shoot from very odd angles and found it hard to get a secure enough grip to keep my horizons level... mind, I had no grip on it either. Mebbe one day I shall get a d300 to go with the 40D on it's way. :D

Glad you like 4.
