Thought I'd add my pennies worth. Unfortunately I took my 3 year old son with me so couldn't concentrate on what I was doing. Great racing and lovely weather. Shame about Hamilton later on in canada...

Some nice shots there Morph, especially considering the distraction, hope your son is feeling better today, it was very hot yesterday.

Last one is good, would liked to have seen a little bit more of the immediate track though. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. we walked for miles it felt trying to find a good photography spot. I Say WE, I had to carry my rucksack, camera bag and my son on my shoulders. He worked quite well as a sun hat!!!.

Cool shots. That F1 car was mad! I was using factor 30 on Sunday and am still in pain :-(

Best place I've found to shoot from is the gravel section between the two seated sections at Club corner.

These were shot at priory. We set up ther for the clio cup, but then my son wanted to look at the renault village. Luckily when we got back ther, after what seemed hours looking for another spot, a race had just finished and we were able to get to the front again. You can see over the fence there but its a bit boring for the photography.

When you are 5'2" [like me] even Priory is a struggle  I ended up fishing a large lump of old tarmac from under the rail fence and standing on that for a bit of extra height. Otherwise, inside of Copse or inside of Bridge - they are fast enough and you are close enough to the fence to blur the worse of out, though even at f2.8 I couldnt quite get rid of all of it, still some chainlink shadows :bonk:
