Well i`ve finally processed my shots, alot got thrown away and one or two others probably should`ve been thrown out too but as this is my first attempt at motorsport photography i decided to go easy on myself.
I went to the show with a couple of friends who, like me, are into cars but have very little knowledge of the history so forgive me if i get my facts wrong at any point.
Anyway, enough with the blurb, here`s my photos:

We started by walking through some of the owners clubs with our mouths wide open, there were one or two cars i would`ve loved to call myself the owner of:

1) Sierra RS500:

8) Ford RS200:

9) Opel GT?:

Onto the action shots, i was using my 55-200mm kit lens all day and on a couple of occasions i fealy it did a fine job.

10) Focus WRC Driven by Marcus Gronholm:

some good shots, how did you rate the day, I considered going but wasn't sure if it'd be any good, I thought the special stages would be too far away from any decent viewing point due to health and safety with it being an organised event within grounds rather than an actual rally.

your take off shots for instance, were you able to get on the landing side , did the 10,000 they were expecting turn up as the crowd looks pretty sparse

I really enjoyed myself, the organisation was lacking at times (i didnt see either showing by Terry Grant as it was never explained where it was happening). My friends were disapointed that there weren`t more recent cars at the show.
The proximity to the track for the most part i fealt was exellent though being a country park led to one or two tree shaped obstructions.
I would say they easily managed 10,000 there on sunday, it was a glorious day and although the crowd looks sparse i think that was down to the fact that they were very spread out around the grounds.
As for the landing site, due to the layout of the track unless you were an invited tog you couldn`t get to it, here`s a Talbot just after its landing:
