Neil,

You need to get out and about in the evening and morning chap I think. You've got a really good eye for a photo but the light in the middle section of the day is doing you no favours at all in my opinion.

It was done in the morning , i've seen lots of other people do shots in the daytime without problem but i seem not to be able to appeal to many people with my photography. I go out when i can , think ahh what a stunning place im sure tp would like this but no.

Think i'll post these last few images and let others do better shots than me :(

The sky in the first shot looks a little pale but it's still a fine shot. The last two are excellent. The view over the surface of the lake is really gorgeous and the reflections in the last are very nice. I think you take some awesome shots. I know I'm but one voice but I see what I see

Neil,

please don't take what I said the wrong way! It was a veiled compliment if anything! (obviously too veiled lol)

I was just suggesting that sometimes softer. warmer light is nicer than the contrasty light you get after about 10am.

#3 is spot on btw.

Ultimately, you need to be taking shots that you like for yourself, not the ones that everybody on here likes necessarily. Opinions on forums can be very homogenous sometimes, if you catch my drift?

and no. I'm not just saying that to pacify you!

Last one , all done... Rather than do the same damn position i decided to photograph both lakes and its rivers and from different areas :)
