spelling depends on whether you were saying brake as in stop we are gonna crash or break break break as in break apart in aerobatic terms, i think you were right first time.:clap:

You were right first time, it should be BREAK as in "break formation" Brakes are what you put on when you want to stop.

Both types were based at RAF Chivenor where I did my first five years RAF service back when Pontius was only a navigator. Oh what lovely memories!! The Hunter looks like the two seat trainer variant, dunno about the Meteor, maybe reconnaissance type?
