I`m not big into flower pictures usually, but #1 is a cracker.

Good idea but I have two niggles - they look soft, and the second flower is a pretty tatty specimen! Always try and find a good flower (butterfly/moth/bee whatever!) or at least arrange it so we see the good side :)

thanks everybody! this was the second day i shot no2 so it was a little bit over used lol. but this was my first try at this sort of photos so i am quite pleased. and i only have gimp, so both these are straight out of the camera
