Have not had much time online recently so I thought I would post several photos I have taken recently.

"Sheepies Loch Sunset"
Sheepies Loch on Hopeman's East Beach is a natural lagoon (when the tide is in) protected by the ridge of rocks in the photograph. I liked the compostion of the shot but remain unhappy with the algae covered rocks in the FG.
Eos 5D, 24-105 L, f/22, 0.8 sec, iso 50, pattern,tripod, hotshoe bubble, remote release, RAW

"Findhorn Pebbles"
One of many shots i was happy with from my visit to Findhorn Beach. Taken about 20 mins after the sun had set. I really liked the expanse of pebbles and the subtle colours in reflected in the Moray Firth.
Eos 5D, 17-40L, f/22, 30 sec, iso 50, pattern, tripod, hotshoe bubble, remote release, RAW

"Covesea Slabs"
Its often a struggle with composition at certain parts of Covesea because of the rock strewn beach. Fortunately i found this small part of the beach where the eye was led through the rocks and slabs to the sunset behind. I was also atracted to the markings on the rock slabs.
Eos 5D, 17-40L, f/22, 1.6 sec, iso 50, tripod, hotshoe bubble, remote release , RAW

They are beauties, if you had #1s sky with #3s foreground now that would be a stunning shot.

A very nice set number two is my pick of the three.

Glorious set - #1 for me. I like the algae-covered rocks - for me, they're stepping stones into the water, which then pulls you in

thanks for the input. i think i did not explain myself all that well (happens a lot lol) i like the stones but its the algae on the stones i am not happy with, would have preferred the stones to be bare!

thanks to everyone else for their comments

Very nice set, I also reckon the first one is the pick of them :)

very good!

lots of composition elements in that first one. Diagonal lead in... horizon and sun roughly on thirds.... just a good example of picking the shot from the scene.

Noooooooo, the green stuff on the rocks gives them some nice texture!

Lovely shot and the best of the bunch I think but they're all beautiful!

I saw the first one, and thought jesus..thats awesome. Scrolled down to the second one, and thought the same, then same again with the third.

Absolutely fantastic shots, and i'm stunned as to which I like best.

They'd look stunning in a frame/on canvas sat nicely on a wall.

First one is a real stunner. Love to capture a sunset like this one day, but need the location, lol.
