Personally, I dont think a few stray hairs makes much difference in a shot like this. Its an outdoor shot and its natural, stray hairs and all.

I agree to a degree about the eyes, but in your edited version James, they look a bit false. I realise thats maybe because it was a quick edit.

I can't help but think a bit of fill-in flash to light the face a bit more would have been nice...

Otherwise, well, composed, natural, and definately a keeper!!

Yes its definitely a keeper.......... but the lighting is SOOOO flat. :|

Here's my two cents worth.

All I did was clone out the hairs, adjusted the levels, added a subtle S curve and then "popped" the eyes a little.

Your thoughts?

Yes, thats a lot brighter.

I wanted to keep the shot as natural as possible though, which included the skin blemishes...
