Took these the other day at the Farnes. What a wonderful place would highly recommend going there. All images were taken with my 30d and 500mm lens.
Any comments on which you like or dislike would be appreciated.
Cheers Mark.

Cheers Gary. He was angry because a common tern was trying to get on that perch. I managed to cut the other birds wings off or else it may have been a better image.

I used my canon 500mm lens on these shots with my 30D. I took my 40D but it broke down on me (need to send it back to canon). :shake:

Cheers for the comments, Its so much fun at the Farnes and would highly recommend the bird watch tour on 2 islands. Can't remember when I last enjoyed my photography so much. :)

Beautiful, have to agree that the tern is a super shot. I like the puffin in flight but its' fuzzy wings make my eyes go squiffy.

Thanks for the comments. Wasn't too sure about the tern as I had to crop out another (half-captured) bird.
Cheers, Mark

All canny but the Sandwich Tern is a cracker, will be out there in just over a week for an all day stint landing on two islands.
