Not bad, the first two look slightly out of focus. But i would try getting to eye level with the beasties and take the shots at a low angle. :)
I never knew you could get blue ones ...
Wow, they are colourful. I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say I like the spiders per se, but the 3rd one is my favourite

they were in little glass tanks, which most of the time there webb upthere about 3.5 5in long
dof bit off . is that down to the macro lens ?

Spiders! :love: they are stunning creatures, ca we see more please? low lwvel shots showing a nice smile! :D :D :D
dof bit off . is that down to the macro lens ?
The 1st one "says" f2.8 and the other 2 f/4
to me it looks like
#1) you may have been a bit close and not got the focus "spot on"
#2) the focal point seems to be accross the "right diagonal" the abdomen and left legs are a little OOF as the rear right, try a wider appature
#3) if you sharpen it a little more you can just see that rear L/H/S ( spider wise) legs are also just OFF it looks like the "angle" you were at try a wider appature

Eh, only have a chile rose, but my ex has trapdoor and cobalt blue among others. I am way too nervous to attempt keeping the latter.

I had a few in the past ( usual stuff) I managed to not get "flicked" as well
and I am with Stuart, seeing these makes me "pine" :D
That last one is bloody close :thumbs:
