Great day out, and a real coup for Elgin as the current world champ was there as well as about a dozen other world series riders. Don't know why they seem to be losing saturation though :(

Starting off with a couple of World Champ David Knight

Great shots doddy, but they're waaay too light. Overall your levels are OK so I'd just drop the gamma which will also bring out the saturation.:)

Here's one I did earlier...:D

teach me o master. That looks a LOT better, even on my monitor. Are you speaking about dropping the gamma for the monitor or in PS?

In PS goto:

Image > Adjustments > Exposure

You have three sliders, one of which is gamma.

HTH

Great set again Dod

Thanks, didn't even know that was there

CT, what adjustment did you make? To get the same sort of effect it's turning the dirt a bit orange here.

Sorry mate, yes, the gamma in Photoshop. I can't remember how it works in Photoshop but in PSP as you slide the gamma control you can see the effect in real time, so it's just a question of judgement really.

Make sure you have the red green and blue channels linked when you adjust the gamma then you shouldn't have any problms with colours altering.:)

Just knock the saturation down a little Dod.
You may need to do it on the red channel.

I adjusted the gamma as above on this one and then just increased the saturation. Again - make sure the 3 colour channels are linked when you adjust the saturation too.

thanks guys, the reprocessed versions should show now. Probably not quite as processed as yours CT, as you say though a matter of judgement which is bound to be personal :)
