i always had a fasination with reptiles and would like to photograph the six species we have:
grass lizard
slowworm
sand lizard
adder
grass snake
smooth snake
i think thats all we have i understand that some are rare so if people dont want to realease the whereabouts please pm me

A great place for many of those you listed is Bardney Lime Woods in the Lincolnshire Wolds. I'm guessing that would be a couple of hours drive for you :shrug: Kirkby Moor (Lincs) is another good site. HTH ;).
Edit: A couple more good places are Crowle Moor, and Chambers Farm Wood (though I think this one is part of Bardney Lime woods). All Lincs. Have you researched a bit to see if there is anything about in Sherwood? I remember seeing a snake in the woods in Ollerton where Robin hoods cave is as a kid. It might actually be classed as Walesby woods thinking on it, as Walesby Scout camp is in there.

Well I have two of them in my garden, slow worms and common frogs, but I live a bit far away - way down south.
