Is this about what we own, as if I post what I drive I'll be here all day, lol
My daily car is a Citroen Xantia.
My fun weekend car is an '81 Datsun Bluebird SSS. It's heavily worked on, its engine is from a Nissan 200SX. When the engine was in a 200SX it produced 483bhp. EDIT - Forgot to mention, this engine will replace the standard 200SX engine probably April.

30psi - that is one seriously cool car!
Are you a member over on the Retro Rides forum?
I am on there, but only with 2 or 3 posts when I was stuck with an issue when I first put the car together about 9 months ago, I started a thread about it.

They're fantastic arn't they, I had a ca18et with a t3, my old cossie killer lol :D
My red one had a cossie T3 too. Using the twin cam version of the same engine yields much more power though. Its really easy to 300bhp out of one.

Just got it last week. Managed to do something to the electric mirror so they don't flip out again, but other than that, it's a pocket rocket and deffo the most fun car I've owned since I had my Primera GT. It replaced a trusty but somewhat pooped 2002 Mondeo Zetec-S TDCi.

nice car. What do you think of the new Cupra - it looks good :)
I don't like it  It just looks boring, there's not enough to distinguish it from the FR, if I was going to get a cupra i'd get the Mk1 (and before anyone says anything, the only reason some Mk1 FR's have the Cupra bodykit on is because Seat had a shed loads of kits to get rid of before the Mk2 came out so started shoving them on the FR Tdi's!!!). They have no excuse with the Mk2.
LadyLens: As you probably know, mine shares the same tdi engine as the VRS (as well as the golf and A3), and must agree its stonkingly fast, i've suprised many a golf gti! The interior of the Leon isn't too bad, not far of VW spec really (last car was a VW), but nowhere near Audi.
To be honest, i'd be suprised if i go back to petrol again, diesels are great once you get used to em!
Feenster: I nearly got a platinum grey one like yours (great colour) , but this FR+ came up and i couldnt resist :)
MK1 Cupra Rs are the dogs!!! Since last week when i picked mine up, I've had nothing but a big, fat grin on my chops.
225bhp is a fair amount of horses (well, compared to my diesel Mondeo) and it certainly livens up the drive to work!! Mind you, was late for work the other day and razzed it a little and got 11mpg*–*not good. 1.8T engine is pretty good around town and below 3,000rpm but once you open up the turbo, it's goodbye dosh!! Great car though and gald i didn't wimp out and get the deisel version....(no offense) :)

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against anyone spending whatever they want to on a car but I admire a mint well kept relatively worthless ( no offence Borat) car such as the above more than a younger more expensive car. I am proud of my 7 year old Honda which, like the above is also in mint condition and the reason I have decided to keep it instead of pouring cash into a younger model.
Will take a pic of mine and post it soon.

Promise you won't laugh . . . I drive a pink-coloured S-reg Skoda. :p
Actually, I've had it for a year and is turning out to be the most reliable car I've had in my 13 years of car ownership.
In the past I've bought a used Ford car of one type or another but they all ended up needing expensive repairs. This Skoda had so far virtually costed me next to nothing in maintenance, apart from a new tyre after the old one had a flat.
Here it is, blending very nicely with an equally pink building. :suspect:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/idj20/prettyinpink2.jpg
And the ladies think it's a cute little motor. In other words, this car seem to attract the girls than a souped up Renault Clio with an oil barrel for an exhaust.

Somehow, i managed to barter the dealer down about £2200 from the selling price.
It's a '56plate ford focus Zetec climate with a 1.8TDCi engine in it. So much fun to drive, and tonnes of torque.
Cleaned it today, and got a few pics, here's one. Took 4 hours to clean it, it had a shampoo, rinse, dry, clay, shampoo, rinse , dry, wax, rinse, dry, wheel scrub. And in that order. You can see your face in it it's that clean. The paint also feels like glass it's that smooth now :D.

It's called natural selection
It just teaches the kids they need to thrust open the door, do a quick Jack Bauer roll out under the oncoming traffic, then jump up and roundhouse kick a potential terrorist in the face.
If they fail, they die. Natural selection ;)

No
The answer is yes.
Means that you get that AWESOME beading effect of the water when it rains, and also it's satisfying running your hand over it when you're finished, and there is no texture to the paint, just really really really smooth. Also, it gives a better deep clean, and it means that you don't get those swirling marks on the paint when the sun shines from it.
And yes, it's a ford focus diesel.

:agree: You'd also be amazed at how much dirt comes off a "clean" car when you clay it.
It also makes it much easier to wax/polish the car afterwards :)
I understand these points, but how much more shiny does a clay bar make it? And how much do such cleaning products cost?
Well, when you clay, you need the clay bar, and an applicator (Lube), and a microfibre cloth too.
You then need a decent wax for after too to 'seal' the paint again.
£13 will get you the clay and the lubricant from here (http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/Store/Product/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=258&gclid=CNXipfig75UCFRSO1Qod0khFfA)
You then need a good finishing wax.
And i was absolutely astonished on how much muck came off my car when claying, especially on the roof, had to re knead the clay every square foot so as to get a clean bit.
Flash In The Pan
22-09-2008, 11:16
I use Bilt Hambe (http://www.bilthamber.com/autoclay.html)r autoclay, which is unique in that it doesn't require a special lubricant as it uses water. For the price of that Maguiars kit you get a piece of clay the size of a bar of soap ;)<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yfEfLGL59GI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yfEfLGL59GI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I must admit, the first thing I do when it starts chucking it down is grab a deckchair and a cold stella and sit in front of the car watching the rain fall off it.
Clay is amazing.. I swear to god my mate put his arm on my roof to lean in the window for a natter and almost fell on his arse as his arm slipped down the windscreen pillar. Oh, you have a point there, I forgot about the X6 :gag::gag::gag::gag:

You drive a Skoda with a sunroof?
:schtum::schtum:
:suspect:

And the ladies think it's a cute little motor. In other words, this car seem to attract the girls than a souped up Renault Clio with an oil barrel for an exhaust.
:whistling::whistling:
That one's even got a hand warmer for the people pushing it.
i drive a lambo i dont own it i just pinched it

Unfortunately the SV has been written off, but I may be on the look out for a new commuter this Winter, and the SV fits the bill very well.
Oh, and the 'Blades a bit trick too....

All too shiny for my liking - I'd spend too much time worrying about the paintwork to enjoy any of those motors (except squareoftheyears CX - that's mint!). Give me a beat up old banger any day!

Here's my stable, or should that be rather cramped garden.
From left to right.... Daily drive, my van, my motorhome and finally in the middle my fair weather toy packing 378 bhp... which is fun!

I drive an '03 Fiat Stilo. Had it 3 years and it's never missed a beat. My mate's BMW has let him down more than my Fiat's let me down :)
