Did our first High School Senior photo shoot this past weekend. I was nervous as I'm not used to working with older subjects. I'm used to shooting kids who are just running around being themselves. lol

Like your shots , the door frame shot is very nice like the way it's a natural frame

The door frame shot is the best one, I reckon. Pity about the missing top part of the model's head on the first. But they've all got a sort of grungy feel that complements the model very well. Good work.

great shots. I especially the last one, great atmospheric lighting. What were you using, a flash gun on and off camera?

Number 4 is the best of a really good bunch. Very nice to see something a little different. The model must be very pleased.

Thanks for comments guys. She was pleased. (at least she told me she was, maybe she was just being nice. lol)

Yes, I was using my recently obtained SB-600. Really opening a new genre of photography for me. Enjoying every minute of it. Flash was used on all shots except the first.

Superb. Number 4 for me - it has an unusual quality about it.

I thought you meant bus pass in one hand and rationing stories in the other too.
she's lovely.
also great shots, I think they're pretty damn good.
I love natural lighting and location shoots over studio shots.
the first one I'm not as keen on but it is interesting
the others....right up my street...

They are all good, but the one that stands out the most for me is No.2

Nice shots and the girl looks very relaxed and at ease in them all. Nos 2 and 4 stand out for me

Sexy teen? Check.
Deserted cabin in the woods? Check.

So where's the axe wielding maniac? ;)

The fourth is actually my favourite. The last looks like those pictures you see of beetles camouflaged against wood grain (I say that in the nicest possible way).

A good set F-stop, really like the 4th shot and could imagine this one as a cover of a CD, with the rest inside

Is this a traditional thing in the states?

They are all great, fab lighting.

It is. I was hesitant to post that it was a senior shoot because I wasn't sure if kids did it in the UK or not. hehe.

And thanks. :)

Got to love these shots, good work.....I might have lightened the girl up a little in a few of them just to pull her out of the frame a bit more.
