Okay I have a few Me-hi-can shots to process - I'm also suffering jet lag - hence up and working on these since 4 am

Great shots - unfortunately I'm no expert of birds, so can't ID any for you, though I will say that your yellow birds in no. 6 is my fav shot - cracking!
Good set John - can't help on the ID's, I'm afraid! Great leathery skin textures on the iguana shots, but the pick for me is the macaws - looks like the one on the left is a parent, gently chiding the youngster on the right :). Lovely colours too. Were these 'all in the wild'?

Ta Mark, 'fraid these weren't quite in the wild as such - the smaller birds and larger iguana were to be found all over our resort roaming free (so semi wild I guess)
Macaws and herony bird were at Xel Ha - a kind of nature reserve.
The Macaws normally accompanied photographers - more of those later!
And the large gull type bird was to be seen all over the beach areas.

Great images John!
Love the Iggy head shot
I'm pretty sure #5 is one of the "night herons" ( theres a lot of them)
Here goes, wish me luck
2) Looks to be a Golden Olive Woodpecker (although the colours dont come through as it's a greeny colour in real life)
5) Is a Green Heron
7) Is a Frigate Bird
9) Is a Yellow-Backed Oriole
Hope this helps a little bit ;)
Cheers
