Silly I know, but had to test out the 'destruct it yourself' beauty dish that my genius of a papa has crafted kindly for me.

I've never really used anything like a real beauty dish before but never the less I'm really grateful to me dad for making it. He is a wonder!
He also has made a little tutorial of how he did it which I'll post up soon if anyones interested.

I did like the photo. In the vain of the photo, I offer the following from the great man.

Thanks mate, I'm just waitin for me paps to send me the CD with his photo's and text on and then I'll PM you when I've uploaded the tutorial. It's a prototype, he's planning on doing another with a silver reflector inside aswell, bless his cotton loopies! Cheap as chips to make too!

It is indeed a self portrait, Me mam thinks the photo is disturbing and really scary, she said "EEEEE! That's not my son!", so it's nice that you found it funny and not traumatizing! :thumbs:

Nice one Thomas, just had a bit play in photoshop and it makes a great black and white, think the colour distracts from the power of the image. Even just a mutted colour looks good.

Would love a tut on how to make one of these beauty dishes, good on your old man!
