View Full Version : is this correct please??
i am using (or trying to) CS2, i thought that when you click on the magnify icon, it is set to PLUS as standard (i may be wrong) but mine seems to be set at MINUS, then you have to hold ctrl in order to set t to magnify, is this correct, and if not, is there a way to change it back :nut: :Ponders:
TIA

On mine it seems to maintain the previous setting, thats all I know - so if it was on minus when closed it will be on minus when resumed.

When you choose the mag tool there is a box in the top left that has the + / - and it's on - change it to +, got me for a while that one!
Carl.
Yup, try changing it on the toolbar at the top.
Select the magnify tool, then click "+" at the top.
Mine is always set to this, and I double click the magnifying glass for zoom to 100%, or hold down Alt for zooming out.
cheers guys, i knew there would be a clever dick somewhere.
thanks again

Ooops forgot about that. Not sure why when that's what I tend to do alot of the time.
I also select the zoom tool, make sure its set to "+", and click drag a sqaured area, to zoom into that area specifically.

Edit > Preferences > General
Tick "Zoom with scroll wheel"
