Only slight crit is that a few look a tad over sharpened. Which you can take as a compliment, as they obviously aren't needing much at all.

Cracking set of close-up images Paul ... ... although I can't help thinking the whites are a little distracting cos they are mostly well blown ... ... but the detail is fantastic and the exposures for the main subjects are clearly spot on ... ;)

Do you need to turn down the brightness on your monitor Ven or do I need to turn mine up.
I can't see any blown white, images look good to me. :)

I need to learn to use the unsharp mask, i apply the standard sharpen after the resize to 800 pix .

It was quite difficult as these were all shot with flash and the whites are a nightmare to try and control

Lovley set of shots here, excellent compositions and details.

As for sharpening i only ever sharpen the resized JPEG before posting to the web, i use unsharp mask. Amount 100, Radius 0.3 and threshold 0.

Great pictures and lovely set, I love the detail in the no:3.
Looks like you had a good tempered subject as well... or perhaps he was totaly drunk on pollen and didn't notice you :)
