And if you have something good to say, or you just want to tell people how happy you are feeling today, go right ahead and do it! Me first :D
Ive got tomorrow and Thursday off work to go see The Police play one of their last UK gigs! Me is muchos excited :woot:
I've just spent the day in the garden (apart from popping in here at tea breaks :D) potting plants and digging soil.
It relieves frustrations (when I've got some!) and gives me a real sense of peace and wellbeing. :)
Go dig everyone!
I just bought two 500GB spinpoint hard disks for £79.98 delivered! :D \o/

I had a great day at home, chatting to a delightful and interesting person; made vichyssoise for lunch; took the dog for a long walk in gorgeous sunshine; and spent the late afternoon playing Lego with my daughter :). Top time!
Oh, and I'm going to see Stone Gods tomorrow
I forgot! On my walk last night, I got chatting to some dog trainers, who had about 8 puppies in tow, they were sooo well behaved! He shouted "HEEL!", and they all lined up behind like little toy soldiers :D:D
I've had a great day... Picked up the D300, and managed to get a great deal out of Jessops, so kudos to them for knocking nearly a ton off the price of a MB-D10 grip
You can get me a grip next time you're passing then, you seem to have the knack for it ;)
I'll have a go... oh wait... I can't ruin my street cred buying canon gear :p
Nah, seriously, what camera do you want it for?
Nom nom nom nom nom :p
I'll see what deals I can find! Did you get my email?
Got it :) And replied ;)
Now I am off to bed, just cos you've got my number doesnt mean you can send me abusive late night texts
/turns phone off just incase
didn't think about that, thanks for the idea :p

I just sold my bike, I have £3k in one hand and an advert for a S/H 600mm f/4 L in the other. The missus however is waving the credit card bill at me ....
I am having a three day week, huzzah :D
My new lens arrived today for the 450d :D . An EF-S 55-250 IS. I've been having a play (none of them are actually any good really so I'm not posting) and it's really nice to be able to get up close like I could with the Z2. I'm really happy. Now if only the clouds would clear away...
Teehee, not sure why this is going in here :D
Parking outside our office is dire, I mean dire. I spotted a space this morning and reversed my car up the road, its only a little side street, I wasnt reversing into oncoming traffic or anything.
Well I saw this woman in her car waiting, and as I got closer to her, she started honking her horn! God knows why, I knew she was there, I slowed right down... but anyways...
I pulled up along side her and she was giving me a mouthful of abuse. I looked a bit perplexed... and then gave her the biggest cheeseist grin and moronic wave :D:D She look stumped, and drove off
Trust me, its the best thing to do in a road rage situation

^^ I get red mist in the car all the time. Must remember your trick.
You MUST try it, even if you only try it once!
If you start getting abusive, it winds you up, and puts you in a really bad mood. Smiling like a moron and waving manically makes you feel better, and ****es the other person off even more! Win win :D:D

Yep, give them your sweetest smile and a wave and they go nuclear. Even better is to completely ignore them, seems to incense them, they need you to know they are narked with you

Correct, the High Court came through for the Ghurkas, now the government has to alter the law to suit. Please write to your MP and push things along. We've a lot of thanks to due these men.
Edit - I'm not a Ghurka, never have been a Ghurka and I've no connection with the Ghurkas at all.

Just refering back to the this post with the interviews. I've taken one job starting on the 13th, doing IT support from a call centre. Should be interesting as my IT skills are nowhere as good as they where 8 years ago. Big learning curve coming.
And it also looks like a major supermarket store might be offering me a part time job, which I'll take as the full time job money is crap, but better than working for supermarket full time. I hope I'm not counting the chickens before all the eggs have hatched on this one. I've had 2 interviews with them this week :)
I'm waiting to hear back from the from a 3rd company, this offers the most money and looks like the best job. So fingures crossed.
So one week left to enjoy myself. Looks like the battery charger is going to be working over time this week :)

I've just spent a superb 3 hours acting as Suzanne's Sous Chef and Washer Upper while she's prepared food for tomorrow when we have a bunch of family over:
Butternut Squash Soup, Chicken Cacciatore, Lemon Drizzle Cake :) plus a home made Chilli Oil

To follow tomorrow we are making a Lamb Biryani for Sunday Lunch :) and I'll be back at the bread baking - Ciabatta and Foccacia :)
