You should have put a government health warning on that-I hate spiders lol.

They are great though-but next time put a less disracting background on it

Sorry, but one cannot always choose the background when dealing with a live animal ;) I simply took the chance to shoot her while she was being cleaned out.

Thanks :) And yup, my ex gave her to me... he has a lot of different species, including cobalt blue. I prefer more docile breed.

Lovely set G, I have some of this species taken on film quite a few years ago now on Southsea common, I was part of the local reptile club and we bred them, at one point I must have had 500 spiderling in old film pots that I was rearing. I captured quite a sequence. Seeing these shots has given me the urge to readdress keeping one or two :)

Gorgeous spider :) I prefer the first 2 with parts of the spider isolated in the dof.

I always find it interesting how the layout of spider's eyes vary so dramatically between the species.

Nice shots!

Do these ones bite humans? , i mean how can you train a spider not to bite and just crawl on your hand

Mine is just docile. I do not take her out myself, but some are very docile, and some are a little more snappy. Mine was from the wild as opposed to hand reared, yet she has never bitten yet and my ex is quite happy to take her out when he comes over. I adore spiders and reptiles, though I am more a lizard person than a snake person. My ex breeds snakes.
