View Full Version : Red Gerbera
Took over 100 shots tonight of this flower from all angles.
Only have time to PP this one tonight, will post the rest next week.
C+C on this one would be appreciated though, make sure I'm going in the right direction.

What a gorgeous flower! The colour and the way you have caught it is fantastic  The only thing I would say is that compositionally, for a flower that points up and away like that it might have been better served in a landscape frame, with more room at the top and right hand side. ... it also looks like it would benefit from some selective sharpening of the flowers centre ;)

Great shot Barry but i would agree with Jo about the composition, Hope you don't mind I've had a play and added a bit of background and a tad of sharpening.

Equally as good as the previous :D
Comments gratefully received and taken on board.
Both from same shot.
The closer crop will make more sense when I get time to process the full series of shots.
