I blame fraggle101 - completely

Evening all

After my recent walk around the City with a few of the good folk on here :thumbs: and having been chatting to Fraggle101 for a bit, an unsupervised trip to Jessops today has resulted in a 5D now sitting on my kitchen worktop :nuts::nuts::D

Straight away eyes are properly visible, same lenses and locations as I've been photographing my kids the past few months on 35mm, but instantly the eyes just look so much better - well I'm happy anyway :D

Brilliant camera and now you can recoup some of the money you spent by not having to splash out on the associated costs of film!

Id really like to see some comparison shots.. 35mm Vs the 5D.. if you could replicate some shots you have on film.. that would be very interesting to see..

Thanks guys! Re Jessops - 12mths interest free £1600 after cash back with the 24-105mm F4L lens. Yes you could probably get it a little bit cheaper elsewhere but quite a good price I thought. Plus there's somewhere to take it if I get a problem.

35mm vs 5D - good idea, I will take both with me and take some very similar shots with them to see the difference :)

Already I'm tending to use the multiframe mode a lot, tending not to look at the piccies as I go though, actually I find that a little bit anoying as the light from the LCD reflects off my glasses :(
