I finally found something I can almost focus on with my macro lens that can't fly away or get blown about by the wind:D

You can see where the shell grows to follow the shape of the rock in this one.

Apparently the limpets return to the same spot after feeding.

Can't say I'm in to my barnacles, but they're really cool shots. Last 2 my joint faves. 2nd probs would be too, but the barnacle lacks the colour that they have in the others.

But last 2, REALLY good. :D

...maybe I'm a barnacle convert...

Many thanks, folks:) Feel quite inspired to go and do some more now. I noticed some barnacles below the water that were feeding so would like to try and get a shot of that.

It's probably 25 years since I went hunting through rockpools! :D
