:D No more mantids for ages...but saw a link to a site about making a better bounce card and seeing as I can't get the lumiquest until next week I thought I would have a go..its certainly tamed the flash down compared to the ones I posted the other day..what do you think?..Flash was off camera and fired from left hand side raised up slightly except for last 2 shots where I was just experimenting..

I am no expert, but the blue background just doesnt work.

Ugly as sin, but still pretty good ;)

great shots, the something different shot is really nice although i would love to see what it would look like if the image was completely like the left hand side. :)

Beautiful lighting and an amazing subject... I'm at a loss for adjectives. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to seeing more critters given the same treatment.

I've seen lots of this fella now and they are cracking.

Wow, talk about being hit with an ugly stick! My favourite's the last shot, but I can't quite tell if it's eye things (or at least the things which I'm assuming are eyes) are in focus or not?

never seen 1 of those before-we have green and greys here in Canada,but they are about
4 or five inches in length-awesome lookin creepy though-and a nice set 2:thumbs:
