I see they have straightened the top of the lid, in 1995 when I had my pic taken with it (I was a young boy and we had just beat united so had to get my pic with it) the point at the top was bent something wicked.
Still, what a great piece of silverware!! Will get my hands on it again sometime soon....

Technically not. The FA Cup is the oldest competition in the world, however the Scottish FA cup is the oldest trophy having been minted in 1885 and still used to this day. The English FA's model dating back to 1911 is still in existence but is not used due to being too fragile - a 1992 replica is now used.
