since upgrading my sony 18-70 DT kit lens for a sigma 17-70 F2.8-4.5 DC macro lens,i've noticed a difference in IQ and the focussing is much improved.the trouble is...i'm also not totally happy with the sony 70-300 DT either...especially when shooting at 300,when it becomes painfully slow.
so,the question is...which lens would be an improvement(hopefully big improvement)over the 70-300?
it's for a sony alpha body BTW....AND I'M ON A BUDGET!!!
