Horseshoe Bend

this is the aptly-named Horseshoe Bend, located just a couple miles outside the town of Page, in northern Arizona, on the Colorado River. this is not a place for the acrophobic!! the bend itself was too wide for my 17-35 - i really needed a 10-20 lens for this one! anyway, this is a composite of 4 images, stitched with PMK3, then processed with ImageAlign Pro to try to correct the distortion on the horizon as a result of the tilted camera on my tripd... :( anyway, it's sorta what i was looking for, though i'm not 100% happy with it yet...

Never seen this before! Love the colours. Sounds like a lot of processing effort but certainly worth it. I'd like to see an even wider view :)
