I don't normally do this kind of photography, but this stunning field caught my eye last week when I was driving past.
The multitude of colours looked fantastic. Not sure if i've done it justice...

Nice shot and superb colours but I would clone out the hedgrow and just have the field of flowers.

Or add DOF and lighten the hedgerow. Just a thought, hope you don't mind my edit.

A small village called Riby not far from Grimsby. Only a couple of days later the farmer had dumped lots of soil in the field.

I like that
Sights like that make you feel good to be alive :)

Don't mind at all! Just looks a little 'milky' on my laptop. I can see what needs to be done, or more to the point should have been done at the point of shooting!
I was concentrating more on getting the flowers to flow and blend in as they became further away.
Photoshop isn't one of my strong points, but a nice blue sky without hedge would look nice! ;)
Shows how important it is to consider the background when trying to pick a shot out of a scene like that. You might have found an angle to compose foreground flowers with just field in the background.
Shame the farmer has spoilt it now :)

It's a bit milky on my PC too, it was just an idea, but was very late at night when I did it - my eyes were a bit tired and I was ready for bed. I think it needed a bit more work, but anyway your original shot was lovely anyway.
