Ahhh - thanks for the enlightenment dod :) I thought that's what they were, but being a bit of a girly, I wasn't quite sure! Bloody good ones!
Pfft. Its not the destination thats important its the path you walk that is. Sure computers do nice shots. They have been for years. I remember using my Amiga to do "photorealistic" landscapes. Getting out there and taking pics will beat pushing buttons on a computer any day :D

[edit] Oh, by the way - the CGI section of his website; The images there look like they were done with either Bryce, or the first version of Terragen - all achievable with a couple of mouseclicks.

And what is wrong with film :suspect: ?
Apart from the costs, and the time delays, and the scanning hassle, and...
(there are two loaded film cameras within fifteen foot of me at the moment  )
Alan Woodford
And what is wrong with film
Lots.
It's still my prefered medium though. :cuckoo: :D
They still look CGI though. A bit tooooo clean and tidy to be real world.
If they were real there'd be some birds, or litter, or a couple of climbers wearing bright orange!
Nice, but I prefer the real(ish) world ;)
OOH! More Hebrides pics on the Steve Carter site.....I'm turning slowly green.....! ;)
