First 2 taken at 600mm @ f/8 whilst out for a walk and the last one taken at a local zoo. Not sure what he is.

Nice shots like the last one best , it looks like to me either a juvenile or female chaffinch
But would edge toward the female but me I am always wrong

Female chaffinch methinks.
:agree: a very nice shot of a lady chuffie
really nice shots, crystal clear.
I am very good at wildlife, the final image is 100% of a Female Chaffinch.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I struggled with the wren as I was shooting into the sun.
Got some more goldfinches once I've processed them.

I like them all but the goldfinch is a beautiful shot.
I think the wren shot works remarkably well - love the backlight sun on its head and bank.
Have you tried cloning out the RH twig?

Lovely shots. Love the bird in the second shouting its head off.

That's what comes of supporting Sowfend innit ...
;)
Three great images but the Wren is a corker caught in full song ...

Thanks for the ID Guys.
'ERDING' I will get the clone brush out on the Wren pic
I see you allow Photo Edits! I have taken out the twig on the Wren picture, and this is what I got. I hope you don't mind! If you would like me to remove the post, then that is fine.
