The River Welland at Stamford, Lincolnshire. A shot from the footbridge that crosses the river by the open space in the centre of the town.

I love this shot but can also see a second one - a portrait crop of about the right hand third. I love Stamford and all the Welland Valley.
Thanks G-Kenny & Graphic-Addict. I can see the shot you mean G-A: that would probably work.

Please can we see a cropped portrait version - just fiddled with a copy and its lovely to include just the tree trunks and the reflective water & boats! Fantastic shot - you should print and frame this!
Something like this G-A?

The portrait version is lovely. I like the arch made by the two the trees and the way the two boats are now more of a focal point in the image:clap:
Very nice once again Tony  Did you have a look down at the stream running through the town centre? Some big fishies in there, people feed them with bread as if they were ducks
Thanks Duckydoodle and Jo.
Jo, I looked into the Welland from the bridge where I took the shot and didn't see a single fish! Mind you, it was windy and surface was quite rippled so maybe they were there.
Regards, Tony
Lovely shot-have to say I prefer the crop version more.:)
