New lens! 24-70L, Not really a true macro lens but still I'm reasonabley impressed with the closenessness.
Here's a bit of a spontaneous one, my pet spider 'flash', and despite being pretty darn hungry, she indulged in a spot of delayed gratification before fillin her chops with this here jimmy.

Can't believe this has had no comments yet - its a bit busy, but great detail
yep, nice. Congrats on the lens too, the image quality is just something else from it, even though it's not my most used lens it's probably my favourite in the bag :)
Yeah, the camouflage is working well I can see.

Cheers kindly folks, it is a great lens although I had sever troubles getting it (another story for another day there), I'm still quite surprised at how close you can get, as for macro, the sigma 150 beats it hands down but still! that's not tre bad at all!
I chose it for portraits and a bit if general, not dissapointed:thumbs:

Aye mate, Jimmy did well indeed, I have to buy the bigger ones now and they don't half like to sing! Admittedly it gets annoying but on the lighter side it gives our apartment a slight continental feel

I had a Goliath tarantula and fed it a frozen mouse that reptile keeper feed to their snakes. I thawed it and then wiggle it in front of the spider with a pair of tongs and it struck. A little while later it opened up the mouse and fed for about 2 days on it leaving just the fur. I't didn't feed again for about 2 months if I remember correctly.

Yeah they call the frozen mice - pinkies!
Yes, true about the long periods without any dinner, flash went for a month without eating but that was largely due to the molting process.

No it wasn't a pinkie it was a full grown adult mouse, pinkies are the hairless babies.

Nah, she's like a slightly aggressive gold fish really mate, Moody if disturbed during tank maintenance and water refills but generally quite calm.
I know if I've done anything to really upset her when she dumps a clod of earth in her water dish! Charmin
outstanding pic the colours and detail are fantastic.
