I love this place. Not sure if that translates into my images though... it is very difficult to get something that stands out and does not look like mere snapshots take on a sunny day.

Kate,
For me (but other's opinions may differ), there is a little too much in focus to get the true atmosphere of the place. I'd go for a wider aperture and lose some of the background or foreground sharpness and put a little more emphasis on the real subjects....as you've done in #4.

Ok, shall try that when I next go up there. Always get a bit overwhelmed by the number of gravestones and angels etc and it can be hard to find a focus.

No3 has a very ghostly, solitary feel about it which I think you did well to put across.
No4 is a good close up, nice and sharp with good dof creating what I think is nice bokeh.
No5 is my favourite. There's something so poignant about it and the sepia tone gives it a times gone by kind of feel if that makes sense.
These 3 stand out for me as capturing the feel and atmosphere of the Victorian cemetery

Thanks, I do wonder if such a subject is more effective in black and white and sepia as opposed to colour?
Always longed to do something there whereby someone is actually dressed up victorian style, lol or gothic style.

I like taking photographs in old cemeteries posted some a short while ago. Some like your angel holding the cross look better in colour whereas the lone grave looked good in sepia. It's not a carte blanche thing that should be done just because the image was taken in a cemetary.
Any way keep up the good work :)
Number 5 is my favourite. Excellent

Thanks :)
And to add a different opinion, I think No 10 is the best of the bunch, closely followed by 2.
If you can get there again fairly easily, would be interested in seeing some evening, or early morning light here as well.
Keep up the good work.
Number 4 for me. Nice shot!
The majority of the others I find I am not quite sure what you are trying to show. I look around the photo but dont really look at anything in particular. As has been said above, I would try and pick specific items and try and draw attention to those.
If you struggle to focus when you get there why not set yourself a mini project for the visit? E.g. maybe concentrate on grave stones for a visit, or pick a theme and try and portray abandonment showing the overgrown nature of the cemetery or something.
Bit of low level light, either morning or evening, for some shadows would also do wonders I think.
many just look like snap shots although I like no.3 although the sky is completely blown - with a bit more thought could be a great pic for a revisit.
a bit over sharpened too - perhaps use selective sharpening only sharpening the focus of the picture.

Yes, I might well try that. The place is easy for me to get to, it is just a 15 minute walk up the road. I have focussed on gravestones alone before, but oddly the one everyone here has liked...no 4, is the one that I was reluctant to share as I thought it looked uninteresting and found it very hard to frame it in a way that got the effect I was seeking.

I like number 10. Nicely done.
