Same flower different visitor

Hi,

These were taken on the same walk as the Bird ones I have just posted... All using my Sigma 70-300mm handheld. I am getting very tempted to get a dedicated macro lense :)

As you can see there is a vast gap in knowledge when it comes to little critters!

Any tips on how to improve always welcome :)

Nice set, the second is a bee too and the third is a female Oedemera nobilis - a thick-legged flower beetle you can see the male in this thread Linky (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=68493) You might try and get a little closer maybe is the only thing I can think of to improve.
