That is one gorgeous looking sunset. I'm a bit of a meteorologist nut so your picture did it for me. Top quality picture, one I cannot - and don't want to - find fault with.

Beautiful colours Tristan, top notch (the nit picker in me thinks the horizons a tiny tiny bit out though as much as I too don't like to find fault )
Great shot - very immersive, and lovely colours. I think John may be right about the horizon :)

Very nice - except,a bit too much water (slight crop there methinks) and its does indeed look a little off level - though this could be an illusion of the water???

I absolutely love it :)
 yes, I think his horizons are a tad wonky but who's looking when the colours grab your attention so much
Very nice, good colors and well captured !
His gherkin is not quite vertical
That just could be an age thing, have the same problem :(
Really cracking shot

fantastic shot....i'd be really pleased if i had shot it :clap::clap:
Cracking shot. Glad you have a clear focal point in this shot as well... Alot of city shots lack this sometimes.
Lovely stuff :)
OOOOOO! one everso slight thing.... It needs a straighten. First building to the right of the gherkin (SP?) needs a slight tilt to the left.
I agree with all those above. really nice. Was wondering when you took this as I live in London and cant remember having a sunset like this for aaaaages!!!
Maybe I just need to get out more
Its really nice but if I was picky I'd do this;

Oh yea, beautiful shot. I dont mind the edited version either, but it might be a tad over done.
Mick.
Only made the river brighter to balance it out more.

I would buy it if it were printed and sold in shops-nice one
I remember we talked about this on IRC pete, I stick by my opinion... for me it looks unnatural. The water has almost the same luminosity as the sky. If you were at a grazing angle, sure, but the water has only patchy bits of "calm" and the rest is almost matt finish. It wouldn't look this bright normally.
Just my opinion.
You say that but the same effect could be achieved with a ND grad on the sky.

Lovely colours, nice and clear, but would also agree it isn't totally level. Wonder what it would look like in almost letterbox format ?

Tristan I feel bad for mentioning such a trivial thing in such a fantastic shot! Forgive me on that point - its an amazing image and full credit to you for getting it to us to enjoy!!

I straightened it up a bit, hope you don't mind! Click on it for the larger (and straightened version). It's an amazing photo, you should be really proud of yourself!

^ Much better !! but its made a great shot a much better one :D
hope you dont mind but can i use that as my desk top its stunning - the more and more i look at it, it kind of makes you feel warm on a miserable day like today

Granted. But my point still stands. It looks unnatural if the luminosities are the same. The water will not give a spectral reflection, so "should" look darker.

Brilliant photo :o)
Absolutely love it!! It may just be me, but i'm not sure if the horizon is quite straight?
(really am nit picking though!)

That is one brilliant photo!
I thought the TV pictures of the sunset at Wimbledon tonight were cool, but that's a different level!
Superb ... Prefer the original..
