F1! (Silverstone testing Wednesday)

:eek: That Ladylens had the better of me on Wednesday and took my F1 virginity.

:woot::D

Fab day out, Loved the noise.... Good bright light most of the day too, I think my meter gave me 2.8 at 3200 quite often, so almost anything was possible dof verses blur wise. The fences however are a nightmare I found, Only one or two possible locations for getting cool shots through a close fence, so I opted for slower shots coming out of the pits shooting over the fence, then later was lucky enough to take a few from the working pit area too.

I've done lots of bike motor sport for a few small mags years ago but over the years between I'd forgotten how enjoyable it is looking at these type photographs. I was all oooh and ahhh last night processing these, drooling over the techy stuff. lol.

Nice set Adam - but...

This is another subject that leaves me cold - as 'Street' did until I tried it :lol:

While I like watching motorsport, I rarely see a shot I think 'I wish I'd taken that' - so, only one thing for it, next year I'll have to pop along with you and try my hand at it too !!!

Perhaps you & LL could help 'Pop my Cherry' at motorsport ???

Got loads of nicely caught cars whizzing passed!, all pin sharp with loverly blurred backgrounds.... has you do, seems to be the thing to do :D ... trouble is, they all have fences in the way and I can't be bothered to edit them out. :)
