I've been promising myself a night at the local speedway since last summer and I finally made it last night ... and the conditions were awful!! I had hoped for a nice summer night. Instead I got soaked in the persistent rain ... but it made for some interesting shots. I'll certainly go back on a better night and hopefully improve.

Love the last two :)

How did you get the angle.. low down.. presumed you where in the crowd and would have guessed a fence?

I was in the middle of the track ... kneeling in the mud!

Great shots m8ee ..... Brings back memories of my riding days (Amateur only, upright frames too).

For me, Health and Safety have taken much of the thrill away with dirt catchers and quiet silencers

No 8 looks pretty near the limit ..... Did he manage to pull it back?

He did ... he was one of the few who didn't take a spill

Images 3,4,5 & 6 look a bit underexposed to me. I like the last two though.

Great set I like them all but #7 has to take it for me. The opaque visors also give a Darth Vader look to the riders which I like. I'm sure they don't pay these guys a fortune to end up like that.
