View Full Version : The Path
I tried this shot this morning have been looking at it for ages from the car but it did not work out as I had hoped. In a vain attempt salvage something from it I have tried a couple of different ways to process the shot. Any advice welcomed.

I like the photo in general, just not where the path is. It finished at a good point, about a third. I think it should start off centre and thus avoid the symmetry.
My take is that the path is too straight and central
it needs to lead the eye to the unknown round the corner
the colour one is a tad saturated
not keen on the borders
nice effort thought

I forgot to mention the borders and I don't see what value they add. I am with mmcp42 all the way on this one.

Although its central the appeal to me is the vanishing point...leading you away to infinity (well sort of!) Colours are very nice to!
Yep good one!
Thanks for the comments I used the borders because I found the photo a bit bland without it. But I take your point perhaps a different kind of border would have helped.
