A morning photo from a while back...

That's lovely. Surely there's a magazine somewhere crying out to have that on the cover. If it's not been on one already.

I'm glad you liked it. I took a long hard look that morning as I wanted to get a bit more than the usual fare you see of aircraft on the ground. Given a bit of imagination and patience (which I don't usually have!) you can make interesting photos out of otherwise boring situations.

Lovely. :)

And the title is brilliant, works so well.
Wow! really liking this one!

Personally I would crop the great big white hole out. The tents in the background need cloning out too as they spoil the outline of the lovely F-16 and maybe the tail fin too? Would that highlight the bulging canopy even more? Which is a key feature of this aircraft.
Technically the image works.

I appreciate what you're saying Boru, but I'm no Photoshop expert. I'm not a fan of altering photos to make them look completely different and I don't have the technical skills anyway.:) I draw the line at manipulation, complete alterations are too far.
As for the hole, that is part of the image I took. You see plenty of shots nose on three quarters to aircraft all the time, I was trying to take something that not everyone takes, and I loved the soft light and the cloud formations showing the sun breaking through.
Thanks for your input though.:)
