Hi All,

Was at the Highland Wildlife Park today for a meeting about the Go Wild Experience days. Managed to get a few shots off while I was there. This is a shot of one of the 4 European Grey Wolves, beautiful animals.

Nice shot, a little hazy on the lower left hand side - something way out of focus in the foreground??

Yes and something out of focus on the lower right too, unfortunately these animals live as wild (not the humanised wolves that some places have!!) and as such you cant pose them, they live in a highland location and the grasses grow naturally. What you see is natural grass and heather. I feel very honoured to have managed to get this close to a very elusive pack.

I can vouch for that. Great shot:thumbs:

I am all for that, imagine spending the day stalking a pack of wolves, that would be amazing.

Yeah I am gutted about the ear being at the edge of the frame but I had a split second to catch the shot and it is a frame filler and required no cropping. Its a good excuse to go back :naughty:
