Took a series of shots in RAW, and this is the only one I've had time to work on today!
Any good?

Some of the others look ok. I've tried shooting different angles.
More to follow :)

It's a shame the middle purple bits aren't in focus! They're great looking flowers though:thumbs:! Post some more!

Great architectural flower is the Passion Flower, Like Chris says it's a shame you missed the center focus.

Thanks guys.
Kinda done that on purpose. I was 'experimenting' with different in focus area's.
I have a few waiting to be posted that you might approve of :D

Thanks Alby.
I'm still learning, and trying different techniques, as you can tell!!
Not sure what focus stacking is
Sounds interesting!

It entails you taking a series of shots at different focal points and stacking to give you a wider DOF. Here is a link to Brian Valentines tutorial Linky (http://www.digitalgrin.com/showthread.php?t=61316) good fun when you crack it.

Would really appreciate your comments on this set people.
It would be great please if you could just say which shot you prefer (if any of course!)
Good shots Andy, I'm waiting for mine to flower so I can take a few of them too.
Looks to me like you already know the problems with deep subjects like this. You need to focus stack to get it all sharp or concentrate on parts of the flower as detail shots.
As to a pick - it would be the middle one of the set of 3. It has nice detail and doesn't have the slight over sharpened look of some of the others.
