Found this Deer fly basking in the sun on the wooden handrail of a bridge. Thankfully this gave me something to rest the camera on!

Brilliant shots, these don't seem to like flash I found and fly off when the pre flash fires. Excellent eye detail in the 2nd shot :thumbs:

Yeah, know the feeling this one stayed still, but the second one I found leapt at every pre flash!

Very nice shots! Number 2 is excellent, very sharp indeed. Are you using extension tubes with the 100mm?

No extension tubes used. Definitely next thing I need to get hold of though :)
