9. Lynx again, no I haven't posted the photo upside down, The pilot is actually performing a loop. The Lynx is the only helicopter capable of doing this

Some good photo's there. Am amazed at the helicopter doing a loop, didn't realise it could do that.

Thanks. Apparently it can do a barrel roll too. It was a bit windy yesterday so they weren't sure if they would have been able to put on their display. Lucky for us they did.

Technically pretty much all helicopters are capable of doing a loop, but it is risky in every case. Most pilots choose to live long and prosper... :bonk:

Nope Apache can loop too as can any helo with arigid rotorhead.

There must have been something else it could do then that others can't. I obviously wasn't listening to the commentator properly, then again, he did say he didn't know much about helicopters.

Some nice cars there. Love the Apollo. Seen as you were not really doing the photography. you got some good shots there! The noise of F1 cars is just heavenly :love:

Great shots of a fantastic day. I wouldn't worry about the commentators, they were a good giggle but quite inaccurate about a lot of things ;)
