View Full Version : Serious Kenworth.
I grabbed this shot at the 2008 convoy for kids. Its an even where truckies raise money for sick and disadvantaged kids. The kids get to go for a ride in the trucks (over 300 trucks) on a pre determined route. This Kenworth T904 was only 2 days old and had'nt done a days work when I shot it.

That is a nice shot but there is something about the background that makes it fake  Thats lovely that they do that for the kids.
It is a great truck, but as Matt says, something is a bit weird. Compare the background grassy area on the right, with that in the background on the left. It's completely different. I'm seeing some repetitive patterns in the right-hand side. Maybe some cloning been going on?? And the skyline is a bit blurred.

background does look strange but the reflection in the chrome seems to back this side up at the very least? What a truck though, jeez!!! Definately wouldnt argue with that.
lol, yeah. The truck is immense!
I'm sure when Mick logs back on in the middle of the night, he'll tell us what's up with the photo. I'm sure he'll be fast asleep just at the mo

Spot on matey. OK, did nothing to the truck itself except unsharp mask and a touch on the levels (maybe saturation too) but nothing serious. BUT, yes, the background has been cloned over. There were people and other trucks all over the place and I wanted it to stand out. I'll have to try harder next time.
Thanks for the feedback though. It'll help for the next time.
Mick.
Cheers Mick. At least you're honest!
I guess you need to brush up on your Photoshop skills. - mind I'm a fine one to talk on that matter. It certainly ain't my strong point :D

Kudos for trying though Mick ... ... and well spotted those that picked it up ... :D
Superb truck though and great cause ... ... although how the owner can afford for it NOT to be working beats me ... especially with all those add-ons to pay for ... :naughty:
:p
Lovely shot, but I agree with the others about the background. :)
