Decided to have a play with my 135L + tubes

lovely set of shots, well done.

was thinking of getting the 135L myself for studio portraits, would you recommend it ?

On a crop body I think you'll find it too tight for the studio, maybe even on FF unless you've got lots of room. I find it ideal as a candid lens or for portraits outside where there's plenty of room. My only grumble is that it's so sharp it makes the rest of my lenses look soft ;)

it would go with my 5D and i wanted it for headshots mainly.

Nice set, I like the bush cricket best ;) I must try some more natural light shots looking at the shutter speed and iso you must have had some good light. :thumbs:

Cheers Alby. Fairly bright, sun was shining but the subjects were in the shade. Shooting fairly shallow DoF helps too as long as you can get a decent angle to shoot from. Of course I came inside and immediately started looking at prices for the Sigma 150mm (insert sigh smiley here)
