Anyone know what I can use to convert the RAW files from my G9? At the moment I've got loads of photos that I can't do anything with...
Cheers, Mike.

Doesn't DPP do it?
It's a joke tbh. The G9 isn't supported in the Canon DPP software. If you use Zoombrowser it puts up a very low res RAW image, but you then have to download the images to your PC before you can do anything else with them. It's a PITA and I'm going to be shooting jpegs with the G9 for that reason.
Lightroom does support the G9 RAW files though I believe.
Adobe Camera RAW supports the G9 perfectly, so will work fine in elements, lightroom, photoshop for you (latest versions)

Breeze Browser Pro supports the G9 as well since version 1.8

the G9 is supported by Adobe Lightroom, back as far as version 1.3
If you're looking for a free converter and you don't have Photoshop, then I suggest trying out RawTherapee and/or UFRaw.
for my G9 pictures, before i got my SLR, I was using Gimp ufraw...
but now i have a 450D slr, I only use my G9 for videos, or to have in my handbag when I'm at work and may just spot something to photograph

Cheers for the advice everyone, I'll look into it. The G9 is much easier when biking and going with mates than my two 1ds and millions of lenses...
Don't knock it mate, the G9 is a superb camera. I recently had an image I took with the G9 used as an image on a promotional campaign by a well-known lager producer.
It's what's behind and in front of the camera that makes the shot at the end of the day :) The bits in the middle just make it a bit easier ;)
