Well, that's a little fib, I've done one wedding before last year, as a mate of the family and not as the main tog.
These photo's represent my first paid wedding and 'boy oh boy' was it easily the most high pressure enviroment I have experienced as a photographer so far!
Saying that, I really enjoyed it and will definately do more.
Here's Sanna & Ken!

I'd show you the lot but I fear there's just too many!
I'm still editing the final 400 for the Bride and Groom to pick thier faves for the album. They're on Honeymoon until next week so I have plenty of time, good job too as I'm still knackered!
Excellent set, well done you!

Well done Tomas, can be a bit scary at first but once you get started the worry pains go don't they.

Indeed mate, despite all the planning, pre wedding shoot and the rehearsals, I had alot of worries, the worry pains did disperse a few hours but alas, they were replaced by a weight related pain from carrying two cameras with heavy lenses!
T'was fun and good work though, I'm rather enjoying the thought of a brief holiday now
Lovely set. Well done, my only quibble would be the back of two heads in the third shot. I really like the cutting of the cake shot - nice relaxed poses.

Excellent work, leaves me feeling I would like to see the whole set.
My only critisism would be that some of the shots are very tight - i.e. subject without much context, but very good overall.

That's a big help Duncan, Thanks very much indeed!
The two main saving graces for me was your website and a book by Morag Mcdonald, those two sources alone gave me a ton of inspiration and a standard to aim for, I'm not saying that I hit the bullseye but I tried my damn hardest.
You did quite nicely Tomas! You have a reason to be proud with you first efforts  I really like the cake cutting shot  The one previous to that is also good, it's just a shame her eyes are closed.

Hey thanks Jo!
The bride and Groom where just the best, so lively and friendly! I'm lucky to have been able to work with them for a first time.
I kinda like the eyes shut element, it say's 'stop being silly on our wedding' kind of a thing. There are plent of proper serious ones too but that one I really like.
They are lovely, very relaxed poses and natural smiles, looks like you have captured their day very well, I would be very pleased if they were mine...well done :D
Damn some of you guys on here take awsome wedding pics....almost makes me want to leave my husband.....so i can marry him again....
Keep up the good work xx

Try not to worry too much, I know that's hard to do as so many folk said the same to me before the big day, but at least try
I think my biggest mistake was letting nerves get the better of me which resulted in being a bit too safe and 'middle of the road'.
If I could have the day over I would have concentrated on providing more atmosphere with wider shots and getting a bit more creative generally.
However, when Sanna & Ken get back from they're Honeymoon I think they will be happy. I hope ;)
Good luck! Can't wait to see the results!
Have you got someone helping you?
Unfortunatley not :( I guess I have one thing on my side though, they cant stress enough how casual it is going to be, its more of a fun wedding than a tradititional one :)

Thats a good point, if I am bricking it on the day, I wont try anything new :D
I'd be very chuffed with these if I was the bride. I espcially love 6 & 7 - captures the moment well:thumbs:
